I inadvertantly joined up with others during NaBloPoMo. It was a consolation event after I flunked out of NaNoWriMo. National Blog Posting Month was easy for me, like taking ESL, although I might not be as good of a student in an ESL class as I imagine. Correct grammar usage is an ugly monkey on my back.
I was a little snooty about NaBloPoMo and never officially signed up. I wasn't sure where to do that. At BlogHer? I know very little about the month long event and really, it was just a personal challenge to post daily for 30 days. I did it and I'm done. There will be no post Dec. 1st and I doubt there will be anything on Dec. 2nd either.
Tomorrow is Friday, the end of the week and the end of the month. I'm glad for it and need a little rest. I plan on finishing From The Ground Up. Say what you will about e-readers - I resisted at first - but I find that I read more now that before I owned a Kindle.
One more post to go and I can give myself a gold star! Have you done something lately that deserves a gold star? I'll bet you have. Go treat yourself to something special.
XO,
Mulie

ah! I was wondering how you were doing with the NaNoWriMo!
My accomplishment is that I've caught most of the mice living in our stove/cabinets/wall. 14 so far. I know there are more. I think they're too smart for the little trap. Its humane trapping, we're releasing them far far away in a field, with a little makeshift burrow and food till they get on their feet. I've been told this is crazy.

14 mice is impressive. That would keep anybody busy! And releasing them into a field is NOT crazy. Sure, an owl probably swoops 'em up eventually but I'd do the same thing if I were you
