Twelve readers? I just noticed that my new blog has twelve readers. That's the number in the tiny box at the bottom of the righthand column. Sadly enough, I think that one of those followers is me. It reminds me of when they show the President of The United States going into the voting booth on election day and duh, you so know who he's going to vote for right? Himself, of course, because every vote counts. It's a little bit pathetic though when it comes to blogging.
It would be fair to assume that if my blog were ever to be nominated for an award, then hell yes I'd vote for it. I mean, who's going to stop me? The Punctuation Police? Well, maybe if there were Punctuation Police then they might stop me because I'm pretty easy and free with semicolons, commas and periods. Typos are another common violation. I don't know if typos are in the Punctuation Police's jurisdiction but if they are then I'm going to have to keep an eye on my rearview mirror just in case they're lurking.
This post really wasn't to meant to tempt you to report me to The Man, it was intended as more of a, "Hey, let's all rally and bring that 12 up to a 100! We can do it!" That's what I'm sayin' here. My mother would want you to do it and she's old and uses a walker and it would make her so happy if my little YouFace interweb thing had lots of followers.

I still get excited when I see that people have commented on my blog because "really? someone has actually read this? hunh."

Isn't that funny? I'm the same way. I do love to get comments and I like to see what google search terms people use to find the blog. I'm disappointed that Google is discontinuing the Google Friends Connect widget b/c I like how it looks in the sidebar and it made it easy for people to sign up with Google.

I "read" my own blog, too! I've caught a lot of typos and formatting errors that way.

I'm glad that I'm not the only one! I do find a lot of typos and I just go ahead and correct and hit republish!

Well here I am, adding to your count. Anything to make a mom happy.
Thanks for posting on my little, anonymous, hidden-in-the-shadows blog. Ah yes my worms. I do love them so. And I also have occasional problems, especially in the winter, with gnats (or are they fruit flies) hatching from my worm bins. They don't bother me b/c I have a handy-dandy way to catch them. Put some apple vinegar in a small plastic container, add a few drops of liquid dish detergent, cover it tightly with plastic wrap, punch a dozen tiny little holes in the plastic, sit it near the worm bin. The gnats (or flies) go into the holes to get to the cider, but they can't get out and they drown (sob) in the vinegar/detergent mix.
Keep blogging! I'm watching (and proofreading).

Thank you so much for stopping by, Pam. I wish I had known you when I had worms because I would have surely tried your handy-dandy gnat catcher (you really ought to patent that and market it to the vermiculture set). I don't know what to do so I just let it be for awhile hoping it was seasonal. Like I said, I had the worms for YEARS before they ever got the gnats. I always suspected that it was a new batch of worms that I bought and added to the bin.
